Telephone 01249 661131 - Dancers of Chippenham
I've never danced before - do you have something that will suit me?
Yes. For the absolute beginner, and indeed for those with just a little experience, you will not be taught anything that is too difficult. Two left feet or no!
Do I need to bring a partner with me?
No, you don't need to come with a partner, although couples are also very welcome.
Dress is optional but please DO NOT wear jeans or denim wear as it restricts movement. Something that gives freedom of movement and feels comfortable is ideal.
All shoes worn outdoors must be removed and changed into the correct footwear before entering any studios. Both from a safety point of view and for good dancing, pupils must wear the correct footwear. Any shoes worn outdoors are not permitted in the studios.
Light neat shoes with either laces or fastener to
keep them on your feet) are permitted to start with, but for safety
the correct footwear (dance shoes with suede soles) should be worn.
Dance shoes are on sale at the school.
Not Permitted: Trainers, stiletto heels or
steel studded shoes/boots.
Not Recommended: Kickers (those types of shoes with
thick rubber soles) because of the difficulty of dancing in them.
Is there a membership fee?
There is a once-only registration fee of £5.00 per person, which is payable with the first attendance. There is no annual membership fee.
Can I pay for a group of lessons in advance?
